Our Mission
Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. We strive to create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise, strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work, and develop competent, aggressive business leadership.
What is FBLA?
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the premier student business organization in the United States. With over 200,000 members nationwide, FBLA prepares students for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and community service.
Founded in 1940, FBLA has been shaping the future of business for over 80 years. Our organization provides students with opportunities to develop professional skills, network with industry leaders, and compete at local, state, and national levels.
At Cinco Ranch High School, our FBLA chapter is one of the most active and successful in the region, consistently placing at state and national competitions while making a significant impact in our community.
Our Core Values
Service
FBLA members are committed to giving back to their schools and communities. Service emphasizes responsibility, empathy, and civic engagement. Members participate in volunteer work, community fundraisers, and national service projects such as March of Dimes.
Example: Organizing a financial literacy workshop or volunteering at a local charity event embodies the spirit of Service.
Education
Education is the foundation of FBLA's mission — developing competent, motivated, and prepared future leaders. Members gain practical business knowledge through events, conferences, and competitive programs. FBLA encourages continual personal and professional growth.
Example: Competing in events such as Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or Business Communication promotes hands-on learning aligned with Education.
Progress
Progress represents innovation, adaptability, and the drive to improve oneself and the world. FBLA encourages members to embrace change, think creatively, and lead with vision. It's about advancing toward excellence — individually, organizationally, and societally.
Example: Developing a new chapter initiative, leading a digital campaign, or creating a startup concept demonstrates Progress in action.
